WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
The Victorian Duck Hunters Association (VDHA) is a member based not for profit organisation representing duck hunters across Victoria. We are committed to protecting the tradition and practice of duck hunting in Victoria.

Our members come from all walks of life but share a common love and respect for wetlands, native waterfowl, and the sustainable use of natural resources. We believe that well regulated, evidence based hunting plays an important role in conservation, regional economies, and the preservation of regional outdoor traditions.

Our work includes:
-
Representing hunters’ interests in public and political forums.
-
Duck Information Nights and duck counts prior to and during duck season.
-
Advocating for sustainable, evidence (not ideological or political) based duck hunting seasons.
-
Promoting high standards of hunting safety and ethics.
-
Support and manage wetland and wildlife conservation.
-
Hunter education.
